aby ofiara złożona przez zmarłych nie poszła na marne,
a dobro i prawda, które po nich pozostała trwała jeszcze przez długie wieki.

Składam najszczersze wyrazy współczucia i żalu rodzinom ofiar katastrofy pod Smoleńskiem, a zwłaszcza rodzinie pary prezydenckiej. Mam nadzieję, że ich tragiczna śmierć uzmysłowi polskim politykom, aby się wzajemnie nie zwalczali i nie oskarżali, a władzom Rosji, żeby w końcu powiedzieli Polakom "przepraszam" ws. zbrodni katyńskiej

Dear Mr. Czyczerski,

This afternoon we heard about the plane crash nearby
the town of Smolensk
(Russia). In this plane crash the Polish president,
Mr. Lech Kaczynski, his wife and many high Polisch political- and
military people died.
The Polish dele-gation was on his way to a ceremony to commemoration
of so many Polish murded people in Katyn.
What a sour accidental circumstance.

We feel deep sorry with the Polish people and a specialy with the people
of the municipality of Zbaszynek.
With this letter of condolence we like to express our
sympathy with the Polish people.

Sehr geehrter Herr Bürgermeister Czyczerski,
sehr verehrte Damen und Herren in Rat und Verwaltung der Stadt Zbaszynek,

Mit grosser Bestürzung erfahren wir soeben
aus dem Fernsehen, dass Ihr Staatspräsident
Kaczynski und zahlreiche weitere Personen
aus der Staatsverwaltung Polens bei dem
schrecklichen Flugzeugunglück nahe Smolensk
ums Leben gekommen sind.. Im Namen
aller Freundinnen und Freunde aus unserem
Kreis der Ehemaligen erlaube ich mir unsere
ganz herzliche Anteilnahme an dem Verlust
auszusprechen, der Polen und damit Sie alle getroffen hat.
